ISLAMABAD: Vaccination has been halted at the F9 Park Center in Islamabad following an altercation following an alleged shortage of AstraZeneca Cove 19 vaccines.

Citizens on the jet COVID-19 jabs began protesting when health workers were allegedly asked to return home due to the non-delivery of the Zynga vaccine.

Protesters have also accused the management of the vaccination center of not administering the COVID-19 vaccine. He added that doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine were not available at the mega center.

Amidst the tense situation, the vaccination center was reached after the police forces and the Assistant Commission personnel demanded them to come to control the situation.

Earlier, after the supply of COVID-19 vaccines from China, COVID-19 vaccination centers have reopened across Punjab.

According to the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Lahore, vaccination centers have been opened in the city today, where citizens will receive doses of Sonovac and Synoform vaccines

Citizens wishing to be vaccinated against Auschwitz have been told to wait. “Upon availability, they will be notified,” DC said.

It may be recalled that there was a shortage of vaccines in Punjab and Sindh and centers in Lahore and Karachi remained closed on Sunday.
