The Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding torrential rains. The second spell of rains will enter Pakistan on Sunday night.
According to the Meteorological Department, torrential rains are expected in upper and central parts of the country from Monday to Wednesday night, while monsoon rains are also expected to flood Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Chakwal, Attock and Jhelum.
The Meteorological Department said that showers with thunderstorms are likely in most parts of the four provinces of the country from today.
On the other hand, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and Upper KP are also at risk of landslides, while winds and rains are expected to cause damage in the upper parts of the country.
It should be noted that heavy rains are likely to affect the communication system and transport.
